  • "I'm a musician; I love and play jazz and I've been going to jazz clubs since the early 70s...most of them have been in NYC since Jersey has never had many of them...when I heard about BRVSH CUL7UR3 I was excited and couldn't wait to go...the club is intimate, clean, bright (until the music starts), and very nice...the staff is super friendly and the barman made one of the best Negronis ever...when the lights went down and the music started, I was very impressed both by the quality of the musicians and the quality of the sound; this is a terrific place to hear great jazz!...I already have plans to see 2 more shows in the next couple of weeks...highly recommended!"

  • "the most important thing about this place is that the jazz is world-class. service is great, ambience/decor is lovely. usually low-key--if you're used to how loud and crowded it can be at places like the blue note or minton's, this is a nice change of pace. do note that cover and table minimum are clearly stated. i wish this were a cheaper outing, but money for artists does not grow on trees. that said, thank you for bringing the city's jazz over to this side of the river."
